Miss Jordan is a multi-style and multi talented teacher delivering classes in classical ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, musical theatre, lyrical and acrobatics.
She trained with Spectrum Dance undertaking a Cert IV in Dance and a Diploma of Musical Theatre. She also holds an Acrobatics Arts teaching certificate and continues to undertake further study, classes and professional development alongside her performance career. She has a diverse performance background and is active and up to date with our contemporary dance industry and trends. She has a passion for performing and creating performers and brings her bubbly personality, creativity, industry insights and bright light to every RWSOD class.
Our pool of assistant teachers is made up of our more senior dance team, who have shown themselves to be role models to our younger students, with the drive to demonstrate and help to deliver quality dance training and behaviour.
These conscientious and dedicated young dancers are committed to furthering excellence within the studio and assisting staff and students towards smooth running classes and quality delivery of training, whilst at the same time continuing their own training and balancing studies and other commitments. They give of their time and efforts to demonstrate, aid and welcome and attend to the younger dancer. They are true role models and reflect the values and ideology of our studio and assist under the guidance and training of Principal Miss Rory.
Vince Calingasan is our specialist senior Hip Hop teacher.
Owner of Passion Studios & Director of Rewind Dance, Vince is a highly respected teacher, choreographer and performer who brings his expertise and skill to each and every class with his unique, cutting edge choreography and contemporary hip hop knowledge. Vince’s classes are vibrant, fast paced and entertaining and we are so thrilled to have him on our team.
Having found the desire to dance at a young age, Eden Cook studied with RWSOD and excelled both in exams and on stage and shone in performance. She continued to gain her teaching certificate under the mentorship of Rory Williamson and ADV, and is now a much respected Hip Hop, Contemporary, Ballet and Jazz teacher. Miss Edie brings a modern edge to our classes and competition teams and is a skilled and innovative choreographer. She knows where its at and she brings it!
Founder and studio owner, Principal Rory Williamson is a teacher, assessor (examiner), syllabus co-author, and teacher trainer and mentor. Rory is trained in pre-professional advanced levels of classical ballet, jazz and contemporary, and performed at this level. She is highly regarded in the industry, and syllabus co-author and teacher trainer for Australian Dance Visions’ Jazz syllabus and contributed to it’s Classical Ballet syllabus. Trained by former Borovansky dancer and ADV director Penny Lancaster, she encourages educated dancers, safe dance practices and making dance available to both the recreational and aspiring professional dancer, and the importance of balancing strong technique with performance skills, and recognises that families need a studio that offers a way to balance their dancing with their day to day lifestyles.
Dancing with RWSOD since a young child, Miss Tali is a qualified dance teacher holding her ADi certificate IV in Dance Teaching & Management. She is also registered Acrobatic Arts instructor/teacher undergoing continuous training and has also undertaking Acrobatics teacher training with Neophyte Performance. Having grown up in the RWSOD studios, consistently excelling across all levels and styles of dance performance, then earning her stripes as an assistant teacher, Miss Tali has been mentored by Miss Rory and is now a well respected and experienced member of staff. Specialising in Jazz, Classical ballet, Acro and Hip Hop, Miss Tali continues to undertake further training, workshops and studies on a regular basis and loves her teaching role as much as we love her!!
