Term 1, 2026 Dates
- 🗓 Term 1 classes begin on Tuesday 27th January
- 🗓 Term 1 concludes on Thursday 2nd April
Classes run as per your enrolled timetable, starting from the first day of term. If you are receiving our studio communications, your dancer is currently enrolled in a class at RWSOD.
Preparing for the Start of Term
✔️ Check Enrolments & Fees
Term 1 invoices have been issued. If you need to make any changes to your enrolment, please contact us as soon as possible. Many classes are full, and changes made late may result in unnecessary fees (as outlined in our enrolment T&Cs) or disappointment.👗 Uniforms & Dance Shoes
Please ensure your dancer’s uniform orders are placed as early as possible. Our first uniform delivery is expected at the start of term, however some items may arrive slightly later due to supplier delays.
If uniforms are not ready for the first class, dancers may wear appropriate dancewear or activewear until their uniform arrives. Ordered items will be distributed at your child’s enrolled class as soon as they are available.
If your dancer needs new dance shoes, we strongly recommend being professionally fitted at a dance shop rather than purchasing online or from chain stores, as incorrect fit and poor-quality shoes can impact comfort and safety.

We also offer a second-hand uniform buy and sell group, which can be a great option for growing dancers.
💇♀️ Dance Hair & Accessories
Please make sure your dancer is ready for class with:
- Hair neatly secured in the required style
- Hair nets and bobby pins on hand
- Correct footwear and uniform pieces
Having everything prepared before the first class helps dancers feel confident and focused.
💧 Stay Cool & Hydrated
Summer dancing means it’s hot, hot, hot! 🔥
Please send your dancer to every class with a named water bottle so they can stay hydrated throughout their lesson.
Studio Safety & Arrival Information
The safety of our dancers is our highest priority 💜
Please do not stop or park in the studio driveway, especially during busy afternoon times.
Children crossing the driveway or road must be accompanied by a parent or adult.
Parents are asked to exit their car when collecting younger dancers.
RWSOD does not offer an internal viewing or waiting area. Seating is available outside in the first undercover car park bay. Please avoid sitting on internal foyer steps, as these must remain clear for access to other tenants.
Change facilities are available inside the bathroom, and parents may assist younger dancers with changing if needed.
